		<description><![CDATA[After being barraged by a flurry of game announcements on Steam the other day, I decided I'd try out the demo for one of the more interesting looking titles, Torchlight.  I was pleasantly surprised with the game, however — what initially looked to be merely a poor man's Diablo 3 turned out to be a fun and addictive, if somewhat simple, dungeon crawler.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[My brother, Spencer, and I had been planning on attending BlizzCon this year, but during the first round of ticket sales, neither of us was able to get to a computer in time to get some tickets.  I had just returned from a short vacation in Arizona, and was on the road the same day for another short trip to Lake Tahoe.  I had a lot of fun that weekend.
