Haha, no, no. No Fred cosplay!

It's basically just an expo, where you can play unreleased games, attend Q & A sessions with the developers, see what kind of things they have planned for their various games, etc. They also have a few sessions where you can learn more about developing add-ons / plug-ins, and hear more about the processes the developers went through to create various assets for the games.

Of course, you can also buy all kinds of stuff there, and they give you a sweet goody bag (as Xot mentioned below) with lots of random stuff in it. Last year they gave out cards that let you sign up for beta releases (Starcraft 2, namely), and an in-game mount for World of Warcraft (a polar bear with a Murloc holding a Blizzcon flag).

Not sure what they are giving out this year, but I'm sure there'll be some WoW stuff, and hopefully something Diablo 3 related too... that game looks like it's going to be awesome!

Fred cosplay! That, I wanna see. I bet his fursona is a crow. I demand humiliating pictures!

So, are they handing out in-game lewt? Didn't they give out polar bear mounts last year? I'm still diligently unaware of what goes on in WoW. One day at a time.

Fred, what do people actually do at these events? I read their page, but it's still not clear, other than meet other players/creators.

You're not going to... like...dress up as a character, are you?
