They claim that the passwords came from phishing attacks and not from within Comcast itself. Nice cover.

3 HDTV's and not one with an HD receiver built in? Ouch!

I was recently looking at some TV's, but haven't decided what I want to buy yet - I completely forgot to check for this. I am going to assume that most TV's have this built in now, but I'll remember to check just to make sure when I get back to TV hunting.

No, I haven't. I made the mistake of requesting my vouchers early and they expired long before I ever got around to using them. They were sort of useless to me anyway since they don't allow you to use the vouchers for HD capable boxes, only standard definition. My only standard definition television died months ago after twenty years of trusty service. I've got three HDTVs and none of them have HD tuners. That's what early adoption gets you. Paying over $100 a month for the most basic digital cable package is a joke. I'd MUCH rather invest that money into a net-enabled media center setup like MythTV.

I usually watch any TV that I miss online too - it's not as comfy at my desk as it is on the couch, though! Heh heh.

So seeing as you're on antenna, did you pick up your digital converter box yet, Xot? If so, how'd that work out?

Bummer. I use an antenna for TV and I sometimes have annoying reception problems. But I really outdid myself a while back. I accidentally blocked the channel for Fox and I can't figure out how to unblock it. Whoops, there goes one of the two shows I like to watch. I watch all my TV online now.

That would have made me even more mad. The Sapranos ended the whole show like that, and I'd hate to see The Office finish off already!

Maybe The Office just pulled a Soprano. Think about it as a poor way to end the episode early!
